I bought the Mile Marker sec 9500 three years ago. The warranty had expired before I ever needed to use it and the first time I used it it just went dead. It would not freespool either. I shoveled out, went back to town, e-mailed Mile Marker and began a long process of of exchanging e-mails. They were happy to provide advice, but not willing to stand behind the product. They said "Try this" or "It's probably this" or "There may be too much grease between the ring gear and the case". Turns out there are several design flaws in this thing. After weeks of trying this and that and the other thing, it's still junk. I bought a Warn and left the Mile Marker on my garage floor in case I ever need something for dead weight-like a boat anchor. Great customer service, but a really bad product. Don't be fooled by their slogan 'Abused Worldwide'. I abused mine by using it as a winch. Don't make the same mistake that I did.

Customer Rating Slow, but inexpensive.

At $449... I knew I was not getting top of the line Winch... but it has worked well when needed and has not broken down. For the hard core Jeepers it might not be the best choice. But as an good solid, once in a while, winch, it works well. You get what you pay for with most things, this is no different.

I have had my MM 9000 winch for about 1 year....I have used in serval difficult situation...It is very slow which is perfect for someone who is new to winching...the clutch for the free spoil needs to be held done in order to work...I plan on upgrading but I would have to say the MM is a good starter winch and the best bang for your buck

I have had mine for about a year. It has never let me down when I needed it (about 10 times). It is slow, very slow compared to other winches, but you get what you pay for. Eventually I will replace it, but I have other Jeep priorities and this winch has done what I have ask it to.

Customer Rating not expensive but not the greatest

I purchased the E9000 winch and regret it. The instructions are bad, the paint work is poor (rust in several places within 2 months), It never worked properly (solenoid was bad then they shipped me the wrong one, and I have to pay shipping back on both the bad and wrong one). But when I was really stuck once it got me out (the only time it worked properly in 4 tries). I have no confidence in it, and will replace it.
