Customer Rating Welding truck winch

I have this winch on my welding truck its got to be my best buy .. I use it to move steel, bend broken farm machinery back into place. Pull myself out when Im back in the bush working on skidders and logging equipment. I double winched it and pulled it right to stall bending a 4x4 sq tubing .250 wall back into place. Never a bit of grief so far

Customer Rating The best winch available

For hardcore users there really is no other winch. Others may seem comparable, but once you use an 8274 for any length of time you will realize these are the most useful winches on the market and have no competition when used for standard off-road winching.

Customer Rating Won't Disappoint

This winch is very fast, and has 150' of cable. I've pulled trees, a tractor (4wd Kuboto w/ rear mower) stuck in mud up to it's axles, and of course my Jeep with it. I have not been able to stall or overheat it in the 3 yrs I've owned it. I had it on my YJ, and my first TJ, which was totalled in a high speed rollover (slight bend to winch plate, pushed the solenoid pack back, but no other damage) and I am getting ready to intall it on my new TJ. It does cost more, but if you shop you can find them for under $900. Also be aware that the winch plate is specific to this winch. Some claim that the upright design blocks airflow to the radiator, but I have never had an issue with overheating. Highly recommend!
