GPS Coordinate Conversion
If you use a wireless GPS unit in your Jeep for geocaching or regular trail rides, chances are you'll find the need to use a GPS coordinate converter at some point. Below are a few basic tools which convert latitude and longitude coordinates between three regularly used units.

- USDA Forest Service: explains why some GPS navigation systems display coordinates in different formats. Gives information on how to make conversions to NAD83 from NAD27 as well as converting NAD27 GPS data to NAD83 coordinates.
- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration: provides a tool that uses NADCON (North American Datum Conversion) to convert latitude and longitude from NAD27 to NAD83 and vice versa.
