This locker was easy to install, not that I did the work myself. Not the cheapest locker in the world, but worth it in my opinion. The ability to force it into locked / unlocked, should the electronic portion fail, is great for on trail recovery (not available in OX / ARB selectables). The only problem I had is that the internal yolk needs to be adjusted to 0.05" tollerances, and my shop didn't get it right the first time, so it wouldn't unlock properly. A quick visit back, no problems. The locker is strong, and the limited slip feature in the un-locked version is nice - be careful in the snow though. Switch can be installed anywhere, and the whole product jusut strikes me as being well made. Caution - in the Dana 44 rear, bolt sizes have changed since 2002 or something. I had to have my electrac mounting holes custom machined out to fit the diff, a little extra $$ but no biggie. |
