This skid plate is cool. Bumper is obviously made for clearance, not protection on the fenders. The bumper itself is solid as . I ran into a tree at 15mph and came to a dead stop, only to see a dent in the tree (douglas fir). I bought the steering skid from fabtech too. Deducted one star for a hole not lining up, but I had been in an accident on that side. Easy drill fix. |

I installed an m8000 with this bumper. The Warn TJ mount tucked nicely in behind the bumper. Installing the m8000 winch solenoid pack above the left side of the winch makes for a very tight fit with the light tabs on this bumper. To handle this I ended up trimming a small portion of the light tab off and then fabricating some brackets to move the stock fog lights forward about an inch from the original holes in this bumper. I would expect one of the integrated solenoid models to fit fine. |

I had to open up the holes a tad to get it to fit which was a minor hassle. Other than that I like it. Haven't got a winch yet but hope to in the future. If you're looking for any amount of fender protection look elsewhere. |
