| I had a Jeep (Warn builds it) on an 04 Sahara and kept it when I traded for an 05 Rubicon. Later I learned that the Jeep skid will NOT work on a Rubicon. Hands down, the JeepMedic is a much stronger skid and a much easier install. It took me about 3 hours to install the Jeep skid on the 04 Sahara and about 30 minutes to install the JeepMedic. I did notice a very small vibration at idle after installing the JeepMedic since the front mounting arms mount to the bottom of the motor mounts. I installed a thin rubber washer between the front mounts and the skid and that took care of 80% of the vibration. I can live with the very minor vibration in return for some armor I am really confident in. |
