I bought my 3/4 ton Dodge pickup about 3 years ago, used, and it had a new set of Pro Comp A/T 33x12.5x17's on it. I was hoping to get pretty good mileage and decent wear and I was pleasently surprised on both. When doing the speed limit (which is hard with the hemi and 5 speed manual) I get 13.5 mpg (not bad for a large 4x4 with 3" body lift) and I just turned 60,000 miles on that set of tires. EXCELLENT overall tire. Been to and from the east coast to the west coast with absolutely no problems. I am now looking at replacing them with LT265/70R17 with a load range E, am putting a slip on camper on the back and will be planning on getting another 60,000 miles out of the tires. Hope the truck will outlast the tires!! Any negative comments about these tires has to be because of vehicle problems. I use my truck on and off the road, not real rough, but I don't baby it too much either. Buy these tires, you won't be disappointed....Dan from Illinois. |

These were on my 04 wrangler when i bought it, put 16000 on them before i replaced, front tires cupped after 1500 miles, and front end was aligned, talked to procomp and said it was my jeep not the tires, did good on the road and rain on the farm they suck, if the ground was aeven a little bit wet they would spin had to engage the lockers to go anywhere in the fields and still spinning the whole time. if you want a tire to drive on the street and price then this could be it just watch the front for cupping. |

I've own these AT's (31-9.50x15) for about 3 months and haven't had any problems with them yet. I made a trip from California to Alaska shortly after the purchase and they did great in the snow and ice they faced on the trip up north (approx 3000 mile trip). Since arriving in alaska I've taken the jeep offroad a few times and notice the biggest problem with the tires is when they encounter mud they almost instantly fill the tread into a slick. but this is an all terrian so that is expected Other than the mud problems I haven't noticed anything else to be wrong and with 5000 miles on them and the constant snow/ice/slush conditions I drive through they seem to be doing just fine. They come with a 50,000 mile warranty but I have yet to have to use that so I don't know what type of customer service I'll be facing in that department. Overall I'd say its a very good tire and would still recommend this to people. |

I bought a set of Pro Comp tires and I have approximately 10,000 miles on them. I have had them balance, rotated, and aligned as recommended. After 10,000 miles, they have become very rough and loud! The dealer calls them, "choppy." He says they will smooth out after about 6000 miles after being rotated and balanced. I have never had a tire do this before. It looks like I'll be buying a different tire in the future! |

I put 4 of the 30" x 9.5" Pro Comp AT's on my 4 x 4 Dodge Dakota pickup last December and they are superb on ice and snow. I wanted the superior traction of something that was snowflake approved but also wanted an A/T tire since we do a lot of driving on all types of roads 12 months of the year. But I did not want to be putting on something like BLIZZAKS and then taking them off in the spring. Gravel roads around here are also tough on tires like BLIZZAKS.
I have about 30,000 miles on the PRO COMP A/T's now and there is lots and lots of tread left. They should be good for 50,000 - 60,000 miles. I also carry about 400 lbs of sand near the tailgate 12 months of the year so that the rear tires do not spin and wear out tires prematurely when I am in 2 whl drive. Most trucks are pretty light in the rear end and the Dakota is certainly one of the them.
I expect that complaints about treadwear from other reviewers may be for one of two reasons.
1) Wheel spin in 2 whl drive on pickups with no weight in the box. and or
2) living in parts of North America where the pavement temperatures are a little "warmer" during spring, summer and fall than they are up here in Canada. Couple that with high speed driving and those tires are going to get very warm and soft.
Generally speaking I believe that tires that are great in the winter months are made with a softer more porous rubber that wears out quicker in the summer when temps are high. |

Pro Comp Tires wore out to fast. I got just under 23,000 miles before I needed to have them replaced. DON'T waste your money on these tires!! Spend a little more and get BFG's. |

I liked the tires at first before they wore out fast at 20k they where shot. Lack of tread in the center pissed me off yes i checked air all the time right around 30psi not over inflated. What really chaps my hide 4wheelparts denied there warranty no help from pro crap! BFG is way better tire but if you can swing a set of proc $300 go for it. |

I bought these tire's for my heavy truck. It rides extremely well, but there is alittle road noise at high speeds that I didn't experience with BFG's. I bought them because they are rated at high loads, with the load range E. I would have rated it at a 10, but everything has room for improvement. |

I ran an MT/R before putting the ATs on and thought that that was a pretty good tire in the snow. Boy was I wrong. I've had the 33" version of this tire on since the beginning of winter and they work awesome in the snow. I have absolutely no complaints about them. I will probably end up buying another ProComp tire to run during the summer based mostly on how good this tire has been to me so far. |

This tire is almost silent on the street. It has excellent on-road traction in rain and snow. Off-road this tire is much better than any of the all terrains i have had (including 3 sets of bfgs). I have ran them in upto 13 inches of snow, about 3 feet of water, a solid 9 inches of mud (might not sound like alot, but this is an all terrain), i have never takin them in rocks but with all the siping i wouldnt hesitate. They are wearing good also. BUT the siping is wearing down in spots. This is a nice tire, getting my next set next year maybe, if these ever wear out. |
