The Lock-Right Locker from Powertrax is a locking differential which can be easily installed in existing axle assemblies without the need for special tools or equipment. Lockers like this one are often referred to as lunchbox lockers. Lockright estimates that an install can take about 4 hours (not counting beer and pizza breaks). Backlash and bearing pre-load should not need to be tinkered with if Lockrite's directly are followed closely during installation. Some models will not work if your axle came from Jeep with an OEM trac-lock (make sure you get the right part for your specific Jeep model).

This was the only auto locker available for the frontend of my lifted S-10 Blazer. It worked great on road, didn't know it was there. Off road, when I needed it, All four were were pulling their weight. |
