| I installed these rocker guards, was going smoothly until I relized that the rear top and the real under carrige bolts are not accessable in the cab. The area where the roll bar comes down is a useless piece of metal in the way and covers up where the holes are. Not a whole lot of room to play with. So I drilled a few holes and got my rotary tool and cut a hole to tighten the bolts. The holes are currently covered with HVAC Tape, but when I get a rivet gun, I will form a piece of metal and rivet the hole closed. | |

Sun Rockers and a 2005 TJ |

| Great product but a problem with the installation on a 2005 TJ. The front underside bolt does not line up in an area you can drill and bolt from inside the cab. In fact it lines up in a curved depressed section of the floorboard. No spacer will work. Hole area lands in a area not accessable form inside the cab. A wellnut will not work in this area. A call to Sun provided no help at all. Felt as if I knew more then the tech! I am working on a solution. Something that Sun Performance should have offered for the $400- price. | |

| Bought my YJ with the Sun product already installed. Lot's of my friends have since admired the compact and efficient design. If you have much of a lift and short legs this is not for you as there is no step. Otherwise it's the best...well tucked and a neat install that really works well. Mine are fairly well skinned up from rocking them and still "no dents here". | |
